LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - After sitting at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart for the past eight weeks, OutKast's "The Way You Move" featuring Sleepy Brown finally moved into the top spot, ending the similarly lengthy reign of the hip-hop duo's "Hey Ya!," which fell to No. 3.
Twista's "Slow Jamz" featuring Kanye West and Jamie Foxx (news) broke the OutKast logjam, rising one spot to No. 2, and is actually receiving slightly more radio play than "The Way You Move." Yet the OutKast song has a better showing at retail, which gives it an edge on the Hot 100, which is determined by both radio airplay and retail sales.
Usher's "Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon & Ludacris rose two places to No. 4, while Alicia Keys (news)' "You Don't Know My Name" slipped one place to No. 5.
"Hotel," the debut single from Cassidy, rocketed into the top 10 with a 12-place leap to No. 8 in its ninth week. Featuring R. Kelly, the title is the chart's fastest-growing track at radio. The Philadelphia-based rapper is signed to Swizz Beatz's J Records imprint Full Service and has previously appeared on songs by Snoop Dogg and Wyclef Jean.
At No. 62, the Hot 100's top debut was G-Unit's "Wanna Get To Know You" featuring Joe. Other notable entries included Good Charlotte's "Hold On" (No. 63), Maroon 5's "This Love" (No. 66), Keith Urban (news)'s "You'll Think of Me" (No. 69), Five For Fighting's "100 Years" (No. 70) and Missy Elliott's "I'm Really Hot" (No. 72).
Alan Jackson (news)'s "Remember When" leads Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks roundup for a second straight week.
The Offspring's "Hit That" gained one place to No. 1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks tally, ending the 12-week run of Linkin Park's "Numb." Meanwhile, Nickelback's "Figured You Out" led Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for a fourth week.
